President Cyril Ramaphosa has commenced his participation in the World of Work Summit in Geneva, Switzerland, taking place on June 14th and 15th. This event, organized by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), serves as a platform to advocate for social justice and the establishment of decent working conditions worldwide.

With numerous global challenges on the agenda, including stagflation, climate change, poverty, unemployment, and inequalities, the two-day summit aims to foster the creation of a Global Coalition for Social Justice. The coalition will address these pressing issues and work towards their resolution on a global scale.

Ramaphosa, alongside Minister of Employment and Labour Thulas Nxesi, and other senior officials, will actively engage in discussions and contribute to the formulation of strategies and initiatives that promote social justice and advance the global work agenda.

Through this participation, President Ramaphosa underscores his dedication to addressing critical global challenges and advancing the cause of social justice for all individuals, regardless of their socio-economic background. By collaborating with international partners at the World of Work Summit, South Africa aims to play a proactive role in shaping a more equitable and inclusive world.
