Two Eskom employees and a truck driver have been arrested at Kendal Power Station in Mpumalanga for allegedly stealing R300,000 worth of heavy fuel oil (HFO), according to the utility company. Earlier this month, police apprehended the truck driver with a tanker containing oil, along with a receipt confirming delivery.

Upon weighing the tanker, it was determined that only a portion of the fuel had been unloaded, rather than the entire consignment. The driver has since been released on bail, while two Eskom employees linked to the incident were arrested earlier this week.

While the government is divided on whether climate change is a problem or not, Cullinan emphasized that the RoN is the systemic kickstart humanity needs to protect what we take advantage of. He said that our civilization is not ecologically sustainable and that the law should guide humans to be responsible members of the Earth community.
