Moroccan-Senegalese friendship

The Bab Rouah Gallery in Rabat hosted, on Wednesday evening, a joint exhibition of plastic art called “Africa of the Day: Expression of Moroccan-Senegalese friendship” and organized as part of the celebration of “Rabat, African capital of culture”.

The opening of this exhibition, which runs until April 20, features Moroccan artist Noureddine Tabete and Senegalese artist Daouda N’Diyaye.

Several cultural actors from Morocco and Senegal participated in this cultural event, initiated under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The Moroccan-Senegalese friendship that inspired the two artists Noureddine Tabete and Daoua N’Diyaye is at the heart of this exhibition which includes 30 paintings.

This event aims to contribute to the consolidation of the South-South partnership through arts and culture and to promote the opening of African artists to the world, in addition to strengthening the positioning of Rabat as the African capital of culture.

In a statement to the press, the Senegalese artist Daouda N’Diyaye expressed his joy at having exhibited his paintings produced in the company of his friend Noureddine Tabete.

These paintings, which the two artists began to paint in 2019, reflect the harmony and convergence between their techniques as well as show the extent of the friendly relations linking the Moroccan and Senegalese peoples.
