The fifth intergovernmental seminar on youth will be held today at the Champs-sur-Marne Castel in Paris, under the presidency of the Prime Minister of the French Republic and her Senegalese counterpart, Amadou Ba, in the presence of several French and Senegalese ministers.

The meeting will begin with the restitution of the work of a youth seminar, which brought together on Wednesday and Thursday some fifteen French and Senegalese young people, and then each minister will have a bilateral meeting with his counterpart.

Then, five roadmaps, concerning the fields of education, sport and culture, economic development, defence, security, and five agreements will be signed during a plenary session.

It is emphasized that the last Franco-Senegalese seminar was held in 2019 in Dakar, and then the cycle was interrupted because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
