The toll from the earthquake that struck the Houz region on the night of Friday/Saturday has risen to 820 deaths and 672 injuries as of 10 a.m. on Saturday, including 205 serious injuries.
394 deaths have been recorded in the Houz region, 271 deaths in the Taroudant region, 91 deaths in the Chichaoua region, 31 deaths in the Ouarzazate region, 13 deaths in the Marrakech province, 11 deaths in the Azilal region, 5 deaths in the Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane province, 3 deaths in the Greater Casablanca region, and one death in the Youssoufia region.
