Tragedy struck on Monday in San Cristobal, located in the southern region of the Dominican Republic, as a devastating explosion rocked the area. The initial count of 11 lives lost has tragically surged to a staggering 25, according to statements made by Delfon Antonio Rodriguez, Deputy Director of Civil Protection, in an interview with the news channel SIN on Wednesday.
Rodriguez solemnly revealed that the National Health System has confirmed the recovery of 25 bodies in the aftermath of the catastrophe.
