South Africa: Morocco Takes Part in the CAF African School Football Championship

A team of schoolgirls from the Omar Ibn Al Khattab school in Rabat is representing Morocco in the CAF African School Football Championship (2023).

This second edition of the Championship, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), takes place from the 5th to the 8th of April in Durban, South Africa.

This tournament will see the participation of teams from educational institutions under 15 years old, which managed to win the championship at the regional level.

Morocco is placed in group B (girls) with General Education College Mfilou” (Congo), Anse Boileau (Seychelles), and General Education College Colby (Benin).

The students of the Omar Ibn Al Khattab school have qualified for the second consecutive time for this African competition, as they won the title in the North African region, which was hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt from 6 to 12 October 2022.
