Nigerian Clinton Chilokwu suffers the consequences of the war in Ukraine. Coming to Kyiv to join a football academy, the young boy had to leave the country urgently. Arriving in France in March 2022. He was welcomed into a family and integrated into the local sports club. But the prefecture refused to grant him a residence permit, and he is now under an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF), an “injustice” according to his relatives.

Clinton Cholikwu, despite his deadened voice and extreme physical and mental exhaustion, persists in training the children of the Agon-Coutainville club. However, his morale is low.

“I’m sad, I have a headache, I’m not mentally well, because I think about it a lot,” said Clinton Chilokwu.

At the football club level, Clinton Cholikwu has joined the first team, leads its training sessions, and offered to become a facilitator. Thomas Desperriers is the coordinator of the sports association: “Given his very rapid integration into the clubs, his will, injustice is a very French word. »
