The gubernatorial candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Rt Hon, Isa Mohammed Ashiru, has urged the residents of the state to prepare for the upcoming March 11, 2023 elections despite challenges they faced during the previous election on February 25.
In a statement released by Reuben Buhari, Deputy Director of Media and Publicity for the PDP State Campaign Directorate, Ashiru acknowledged that people may feel demotivated by the previous election’s outcome, and may question why they should bother to vote on Saturday.
However, he cautioned against giving up and staying at home, as this would not yield any lasting rewards for anyone.
Ashiru emphasized that voting for the PDP in the upcoming election would ensure that everyone emerges as a winner, regardless of their political affiliation. He also cautioned voters to be vigilant, warning that the All Progressives Congress (APC) may resort to illegal tactics to sway voters in their favor.
The gubernatorial candidate urged potential voters to reject any inducements that may compromise their integrity and their future, and to remain focused on the potential that lies ahead.
