A conference on ”The prevention of violent extremism in West and Central Africa: realities and perspectives” will be held in Dakar, This Tuesday.
It is a conference organized by the Centre for Advanced Studies in Defence and Security (CHEDS) at the Novotel Hotel.
According to a CHEDS press release, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese abroad, Aïssata Tall Sall will preside over the opening ceremony of this event which focuses on an important issue for African and global security.
This event will also see the participation of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel.
