Jihadist violence continues in Mali with several victims. Indeed, the latest terrorist attack in western Mali has left 2 dead, an officer and a civilian, in addition to 7 wounded on the road to Mauritania.
The office of the regional governor of Nara announced that these people were killed due to the explosion of a device on Monday at a police checkpoint.
This is neither the first nor the last such attack in the region. On 7 February, a jihadist attack killed two Malian police officers and a gendarme.
Jihadist violence has spread since 2012 in Mali, especially in the center and east of the country, causing security, political and humanitarian crises.
