Eleven people were killed and 43 injured in a traffic accident on Tuesday morning when a passenger vehicle overturned on a highway 6 km away from Taza city.
Immediately alerted, local authorities, the RCMP and emergency preparedness services were on the scene and took necessary steps, the same sources said. The victim was taken to Taza State Hospital for necessary treatment.
An investigation was launched by the RCMP under the supervision of the prosecutor in charge to determine the circumstances of the accident.
