The Royal Mint revealed, that the famous magician’s character Harry Potter had appeared on a coin chain in the UK, including a 50 pence cut.

According to the Board’s statement, it launched a “collection of magic coins to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, the first part of Jay Kay Rowling’s acclaimed series of novels, which was a landslide global success.

“The series will carry four pieces of cash, one of which will be a photograph of the famous witch with glasses on, while the other pieces will show the Hogwarts Express Train, Professor Albus Dumbledore and the Hogwarts School of Witches.

In the same vein, she added, “coins will be provided with a visual effect that mimics the effect of the” lightning bolt “when placed in front of the light, which was possible through a sophisticated laser technology that gives the” magical “character of coins, and also gives them safety and documentation features, according to Royal Mint.”

The resource mentioned before, confirmed that the coins included two coins with photographs of Queen Elizabeth II who died last month, and two other coins with the official portrait of King Charles III.

Notably, the seven-part “Harry Potter” series was launched in 1997, recounting the adventures of young magician Harry Potter at the Hogwarts School of Witches, and his battle against Lord Voldemort, a black witch looking for immortality.
