President Macky Sall Welcomes Moroccan Parliamentary Delegation in Senegal

Yesterday evening, the Senegalese President, Macky Sall, received the President of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Mr. Rachid Talbi Alami, who is on a working visit to Senegal, at the Presidential Palace in Dakar.

The reception was attended by the President of the Senegalese National Assembly, Mr. Amadou Mame Diop, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Senegal, Mr. Hassan Naciri.

During the meeting, Talbi Alami expressed his appreciation for the excellent relations between Morocco and Senegal under the wise leadership of King Mohammed VI and President Macky Sall. He emphasized the need to strengthen these historical relations on all fronts.

Talbi Alami praised Senegal’s support for the issue of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, expressing the gratitude of the Moroccan people for this support. He also stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields.

In a press statement, Talbi Alami conveyed his congratulations to President Sall for his efforts in defending Africa’s interests during his presidency of the African Union in the previous term.

At the end of the reception, President Macky Sall honored Talbi Alami with the National Lion Order, and Commander’s grade, and members of the accompanying delegation were decorated with the National Lion Order medals.

The working visit of Talbi Alami was marked by the signing of a parliamentary cooperation memorandum between the Moroccan House of Representatives and the Senegalese National Assembly.
