President Assimi Goïta, the Transitional President of Mali, officially inaugurated the Dialysis Center at the Reference Health Center (CSREF) in Commune V on October 31. This ceremony marked the grand finale of a month dedicated to solidarity and the fight against exclusion.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Minister of Health and Social Development, the Prime Minister, and other members of the transitional government. Also in attendance were the President of the National Transitional Council, the Governor of the District of Bamako, and the Director of the CSREF.
The event commenced with the symbolic ribbon-cutting, signifying the official opening of the state-of-the-art center, which is equipped with cutting-edge dialysis machines. President Goïta subsequently toured the facility and presented the keys to a brand-new ambulance to the Minister of Health for the dialysis center.
The construction and outfitting of this center were funded as part of the social initiatives undertaken by President Assimi Goïta. It represents another promise fulfilled by the President in his commitment to improving healthcare services in Mali.
Accompanying the Head of State during this ceremony were his Chief of Staff, his Special Chief of Staff, and the team responsible for the social initiatives.
The ceremony culminated in a group photograph, marking a momentous step in enhancing healthcare services in Mali and ensuring better access to dialysis for the people of Commune V and beyond.
