Explosive Projectiles Attack in Smara, Morocco: Investigation Launched

The Attorney General at the Court of Appeal in Laayoune, Morocco, announced in a statement that the Judicial Police have been assigned to conduct a judicial investigation following the recording of death and injuries to three other individuals as a result of the launch of explosive projectiles targeting residential neighborhoods in the city of Smara.

The statement further added that the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal in Laayoune has instructed the investigative team to carry out the necessary technical and ballistic expertise to determine the source and nature of the explosive projectiles that resulted in the death of one victim and caused injuries of varying degrees of severity to three others, including two critical cases who were transferred to the hospital in Laayoune for necessary medical treatment.

The statement concluded by emphasizing that the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal in Laayoune will ensure the appropriate legal measures are taken in accordance with the results of the investigation.
