Repatriation of 78 Senegalese Migrants Stranded in Morocco

A group of seventy-eight Senegalese individuals, who had embarked on an irregular migration journey from Morocco by road, is set to return to Senegal on Friday, as reported by the Senegalese news agency, citing information from a diplomatic source.

Those migrants would leave from Moroccan land by 9 a.m. the subsequent day to arrive in St. Louis, north Senegal on the subsequent Saturday or October 14th, 2023. The Senegalese consul in Dakhra transmitted this information to the official Senegalese news agency through a notice. They have lived in Morocco since September 28.

It is further evident from the notice that today there will be 401 Senegalese going back to Dakhla which comprises ten women, approximately thirty minor children; and three patients who are currently in the region.
