Souleymane Fall, Special Adviser to the President of Senegal, Macky Sall, hailed the constant commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to South-South cooperation as a solution for Africa’s development, at the first “Morocco VIP B2B” business forum held in Marrakech on Thursday.

Mr. Fall highlighted the tireless efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and the Sovereign’s personal commitment and constant desire to make Africa an “emerging”, “prosperous” and “united” continent.

Indeed, Mr. Fall added that having represented President Macky Sall on several occasions at the Crans Montana Forum in Dakhla, South-South cooperation as a solution for Africa’s development has always been mentioned in all the messages addressed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the participants.

In the same vein, the Special Adviser to the President of Senegal praised the relevance and nobility of the Sovereign’s mission to serve the progress and prosperity of the Continent, noting that Morocco is constantly developing a dynamic in favor of the unification of Africa.

Taking into account the challenges facing Africa, he pointed out that the major challenge facing the continent is “structuring financing to create the conditions for emergence”.

In this respect, he felt that Africa needed more than ever investment that would fit in with its development plans.

Caroline Schwab, founder and president of Morocco Golden Assets-MGA and CEO of Be One World MENA, pointed out that the Covid-19 pandemic has had the major effect of putting people at the center of concerns, even if “governments have become very nationalistic once again”.

Initiated by the VIP International Business Club “Morocco Golden Assets-MGA”, the first edition of the “Morocco VIP B2B” Forum is intended to be a meeting place for proactive businessmen and women, seeking to contribute to the economic recovery of society, in coordination with all the institutions, to resolve the most important projects at this time of drastic climate change, water stress, and a worrying geopolitical situation.
