A video published by “El Faro de Ceuta” showed 3 Moroccans, who were inside an Algerian hospital, after their attempt to cross to the occupied city of Ceuta failed, as they tried to cross it on a “kayak”, ended up in Algeria.

According to the same newspaper, the participants in the irregular migration process, who ranged between 16 and 18 years old, were rescued by members of the Algerian National Gendarmerie, as they began to show signs of hypothermia and sunburn.

The same source stated that they were taken to the hospital, where they were able to contact their relatives through social media platforms, noting that their families do not know the measures that will be taken against them to return to their country of origin, while they must provide explanations to the Algerian authorities on how they can reach Algerian waters.

They had tried to cross to the occupied city of Ceuta, last Sunday, and there was no news of them, which made their families launch a distress call, while they were not found by the Spanish sea rescue and civil guard so their whereabouts in Algeria were announced.
