In parallel with the speed at which artificial intelligence is moving, and how it entered society and moved its structures quickly, there are some advanced technologies that this artificial intelligence enjoys that raise controversy, such as the possibility of detecting what is going on in a person’s mind and intruding on his privacy.

In this regard, the British Data Monitoring Authority warned of “efforts to enable companies to use brain-reading technology to monitor or hire workers, with possible violations if not used properly”.

After this warning, a group of websites and those interested in commenting on the topic were buzzing, between fear of advanced artificial intelligence techniques and its positive contribution in some areas.

Commenting on the existing controversy, Ahmed Raslan, a professor of functional brain surgery and neurosurgery at the American University of Oregon, confirmed in an interview with “Sky News Arabia” that “the true extent to which technology has reached in reading human thoughts and what has already been used in them is not possible”. Completely, and not specifically, in the sense that it is possible to predict what a person wants to eat, but it is not possible to predict what he thinks to eat.
