Dr. Baba Haruna has been appointed as the new Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, for five years by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari.
The appointment, which took effect on May 21st, was contained in a letter signed by the Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu, and addressed to him.
In the letter, the minister informed Dr. Baba Haruna of his appointment as the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger, adding that he will have the same conditions of service, including remuneration and benefits, approved for Rectors of the Federal Polytechnic.
President Buhari congratulated Mr. Haruna, who was the Director of Quality Assurance at the Polytechnic, on his new appointment and wished him a fruitful tenure.
