On the occasion of the holding of the 2nd Joint Commission of Cooperation Morocco-Cabo Verde, an artistic evening in honor of the Cape Verdean Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation was organized on Wednesday at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication and was attended by the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cabo Verde, Rui Alberto de Figueiredo Soares.
In a press release, the ministry announced that the evening was marked by a musical fusion mixing Gnaoua art and Cape Verdean rhythms, performed by Abdelmajid Bakkas and Tito Paris.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Bensaid welcomed the distinguished bilateral relations between Morocco and Cabo Verde, as witnessed by the exchange of visits and cooperation between the Kingdom and the Republic of Cabo Verde.
Thus, Minister Bensaid added that Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, will spare no effort to raise the level of cooperation and develop it in the cultural field.
Further, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Cabo Verde visited, in the company of Mr. Bensaid, the exhibition of the Cape Verdean artist Tito Sossa, the statement concluded.
