On Wednesday evening, a tragic incident took place in Karshen Kwalta, Rimin Kebe quarters of Ungoggo Local Government Area in Kano State. As per an eyewitness, a teenager identified as Iro Kwarangwal allegedly stabbed his biological mother, Jummai, to death following a disagreement at around 5:30 pm.
The eyewitness revealed that he heard screaming from the deceased residence and rushed in to offer help. He found the deceased, who was stabbed severally with a knife, screaming for help. The deceased was later rushed to the hospital in a tricycle with blood all over her body but was pronounced dead on arrival.
In accordance with Islamic rites, the deceased has been buried, and the witness offered prayers for her forgiveness and admittance to paradise. The Public Relations Officer of the Kano Police Command, Abdullahi Haruna, has confirmed the incident and pledged to furnish details on the matter.
