NIGER PRIME MINISTER

A press release from the Information and Communication Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of Niger, Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou, has announced that the Prime Minister is participating in the Africa 2023 Forum.

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, is representing the President of the Republic, Mohamed Bazoum at this Forum, organized by the French Council of Investors in Africa.

The delegation led by Mr. Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou is also composed of the Ministers in charge of Energy and Renewable Energies, Trade, Industry, and Youth Entrepreneurship, as well as other high officials.

This forum is a framework for Africa to assert its potential as a supplier of raw materials to Europe. It will provide an opportunity to review the Europe-Africa partnership and to negotiate new alliances with European partners.

Africa’s challenges have changed as a result of the new world economic order imposed by the crisis of Covid-19, the war in Ukraine, and inflation.

As Africa has enormous potential, it needs to review its partnerships with the rest of the world.
