On Tuesday, the Spanish government approved the granting of a loan of 5 million euros to Morocco for the construction of two wastewater treatment plants. ONEE will receive the loan in question.

The decision received the approval of the Spanish Council of Ministers, qualifying the ONEE project of strategic importance for Spain.

In this project, two compact reverse osmosis treatment plants will be supplied and installed, as well as their maintenance for a maximum period of five years.

One of the major announcements of the High-Level Meeting, recalls the Spanish press, was the doubling of the credit for Morocco, from 400 million to 800 million euros. This is intended for Spanish companies wishing to invest in renewable energy, water, and innovation in Morocco.
