Direct Flights Between Israel and Nigeria to Begin on 20 April

A statement issued by the Israeli Ministry of Transport has announced that the first direct flight routes between Israel and Nigeria will begin next month.

The ministry said in a statement that Nigeria’s national airline, Air Peace plans to start direct flights to Israel from April 20.

According to the same statement, the air agreement signed between Israel and Nigeria will for the first time allow airlines from both countries to operate regular direct flights between Ben Gurion Airport and several Nigerian destinations.

In the same context, the Israeli Minister of Transport Miri Regev recalled that Nigeria is a leading country in Africa and has close ties with Israel in many areas.

She noted that this new line will contribute to strengthening commercial and cultural ties between the two countries.
