A new civilian-led transitional government is expected on 11 April, according to the spokesman for the political process in Sudan, Khalid Omer.

Namely, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the civilian forces, and the trilateral mechanism held a meeting earlier, after which the parties decided to establish a committee that consists of 11 members to draft the final agreement.

9 of the 11 members of the committee represent the signatory civilian forces, 1 represents the national army and 1 represents the paramilitary forces.
