Report : Irregular Migration Increases in Ceuta, Decreases in Spain

According to a bi-monthly report from the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, irregular migration to the occupied city of Ceuta has increased this year compared to last year.

The report states that between January 1 and March 15, a total of 179 people managed to infiltrate the city on foot, marking a 65.7 percent increase from last year when only 78 people were able to cross into the city.

The same report reveals that during the same period, only 12 immigrants entered the city of Ceuta by sea, representing a decline of 36.8 percent from last year when 19 people arrived in the city by sea.

In addition, the report indicates that from January 1 to March 15, a total of 3,729 people entered Spain irregularly, reflecting a significant decrease of 4,494 migrants compared to the same period last year when 8,223 people entered Spanish territory irregularly.

These statistics provide insight into the current state of irregular migration in Spain and the occupied city of Ceuta. While there has been an increase in the number of people infiltrating Ceuta on foot, and arriving in Spain irregularly has decreased overall.
