24 Guinean and Gabonese Diplomats in Dakhla to Prospect the Region’s Potentialities

A delegation of 24 Guinean and Gabonese diplomats visited Dakhla on Thursday to explore the potentialities of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.

This visit is organized by the Moroccan Academy of Diplomatic Studies (AMED), in partnership with the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI).

This trip offers the opportunity for these African diplomats to see the socioeconomic growth and development that the region is experiencing at all levels.

Thus, this delegation will be able to learn about the implementation of the development model in the southern provinces of the Kingdom.

In a statement to the press, the head of the Guinean delegation said that this visit is part of the strengthening of friendly relations between the Republic of Guinea and the Kingdom of Morocco.

The diplomat also said that this visit is an opportunity to discuss cooperation opportunities and exchange experience in several fields.

For his part, the head of the Gabonese delegation noted that this visit allowed the delegation to detect investment opportunities in the region.

The members of the delegation also had a meeting with the secretary general of the wilaya of the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Moulay Ismail Haikal, during which the focus was on the development process, the investment opportunities and the major projects carried out in Dakhla.
