The Moroccan international Football player Achraf Hakimi, who plays as a right back in the PSG, is allegedly the subject of a rape inquiry, according to information made public on Monday by the French media outlet “Le Parisien,” which is regarded as being close to the French authorities.

In a published article, “Le Parisien” revealed that a young woman reported to the police that a Paris Saint-Germain player had raped her over the past weekend. The prosecution took up the matter on its own, which prevented her from refusing to submit a complaint”.

According to the same source, “the judicial police officer on duty this Sunday promptly called his hierarchy, the staff of the police prefecture, and the Créteil public prosecutor’s office (Val-de-Marne) in light of the gravity of the circumstances and the celebrity of the accused culprit.”

The 23-years-old accused victim reportedly said he wanted to make a confession of rape rather than file a complaint, according to the French daily.

The French newspaper reported that “The case was initially taken by the public prosecutor’s office in Créteil before being forwarded to Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), with the facts having occurred in Boulogne-Billancourt. The dossier, which was put together based on the complainant’s allegations but which the investigating service has not yet heard, is being worked on by the investigators as of this Monday.

“The information would have its origin on January 16th, when a conversation between Achraf Hakimi and the young woman via the social media platform Instagram got underway. The young woman would have taken an Uber that the PSG player would have booked for her on Saturday, February 25th, to the player’s residence in Boulogne, the same source said.
