In Burkina Faso, the inhabitants of the commune of Partiaga, located 160 kilometers from Fada N’Gourma, in the Eastern region, denounced Monday, February 27th during a press conference the inaction of the Defense Forces and of security.
Armed terrorist groups launched an attack on the city: administrative buildings, concessions, and granaries were set on fire.
Without seeing any reinforcements despite their repeated calls for help for more than two weeks, the survivors say they have been abandoned by the army. According to them, only the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) remained in the face of the armed groups that prowled around the town.
