Mustafa Paytas, Delegate Minister in charge of Relations with Parliament, and government spokesperson, said today, Thursday, that “production chains in Morocco suffer from imbalances, and they are confused chains, in which a group of media interferes.”

During a meeting with the Fakih al-Tetouani Foundation, Paytas added, that the high prices require the concerted efforts of everyone, and not blaming the government alone, although it does not evade this responsibility, and today there are dealers of crises in terms of financial and media.”

In his presentation about the high prices, Mustafa Petas stressed that “this moment requires patriotism, presenting ideas and alternatives, and that the government monitors the markets daily, within the framework of the Freedom of Prices and Competition Law.”

The government spokesperson returned to talking about the prices of electricity and subsidized materials, saying that “the government intervened with large sums to prevent the rise in the price of electricity, flour and butane gas prices, in addition to subsidizing transport professionals, which amounted to 5 billion dirhams, in the last batch.”
