The newspaper “Jeune Afrique” stated that Morocco’s file related to the organization of the 2025 African Cup of Nations is receiving great attention from many officials, especially after its distinguished organization of the “Mondialito” competitions.
The same newspaper said: “The game of consensus did not satisfy the “Capritans”, who insist on the eligibility of their country to organize, especially after the success of the “Al-Shan” organization, according to their opinion.
According to John Afrik: “The competition witnessed many violations in Algeria, most notably the confusion between politics and sports, which is contrary to the requirements of the International Federation of Football Associations.”
Furthermore, the newspaper continued its speech: “The remaining percentage is distributed between the files of Algeria and Zambia, wondering about the delay in announcing the organizing country, noting that “CAF” had previously set the date of February 10 to announce the final results.
According to “Jeune Afrique”, the delay in announcing the organizing country is due to agreements that may take place during the last moments, represented in assigning the “CAN 2025” organization to Morocco, the pro-Algerian version, and the 2029 version to Nigeria and Benin.
It is noteworthy that Morocco hosted a few days ago the “Mondialito” competition in the cities of Tangier and Rabat, where Morocco received many praises from senior officials, coaches, as well as football players, considering that the Kingdom presented a wonderful version of the World Cup.
