At a gathering held in Agoè-Nyivé, hundreds of members of the Togolian ANC (National Alliance for Change) party were present.

The ANC president, who is also the municipal chief of one of Lomé’s 13 localities, attended the gathering on Sunday, February 12, which was held in a neighborhood in the city’s northern suburbs.

“This event served to re-energize the community. As you may have noted, we urged attendees to register to vote in advance of the census’s start. Considering that many of our voters are unregistered and that we previously contacted to ask people not to register, this is significant. In order to register, they must go.”

Major opposition parties did, in fact, abstain from the 2018 legislative elections, claiming “irregularities” in the process of planning them. Several of their backers consequently did not cast their ballots.

Elections in Togo will take place this year, although no date has been determined, according to president Faure Gnassimbé’s announcement made late last year. the dozens of ANC members who are dreaming of change have not been deterred by this.

“ANC is a political organization. that actively campaigns on behalf of change in this nation. We must struggle to save Togo from its current predicament because the people there are suffering “such a man stated.

“I’m ecstatic since the authorities have frequently intervened to keep us apart. We must become aware of how poorly this nation is run.”
Jean-Pierre Fabre, the head of the ANC, criticized the Gnassingbé family’s leadership over Togo since 1963.
