After the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria sent a notice to its members to suspend the sale of petrol and close all refueling stations, today it lifted the suspension and asked its members to resume their operations.

The Chairman of IPMAN, Mohd Kulu, signed an order yesterday February 6, to suspend the payment of orders for products from the exporter until further notice.

The association’s decision came after the government forced the sale of the product at a loss price on their part.

A spokesperson for the IPMAN office in Maiduguri, Borno State, says the issue has been resolved and all members have been directed to work on fuel distribution.
