The president of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Felix Antoine Tshisekedi, made a working visit to the Republic of Congo on Sunday, where he met his counterpart, Denis Sassou Nguesso.
According to local correspondents, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi arrived in the early afternoon at Oyo Ollombo airport. The city of Oyo is located 400 km north of Brazzaville.
According to the Congolese presidency, the DRC president and his delegation went to Kinshasa in the early evening.
The talks between the two heads of state focused on cooperation between the two countries as well as the security situation in Africa, especially the violence in eastern DRC.
