Morocco has participated in the 64th Brussels Holiday Fair 2023, which is being held from February 2 to 2, at the Brussels Exhibition Centre, within the context of a programme featuring artistic and gustatory activities.

Morocco, represented by the Moroccan National Office of Tourism (ONMT)-Benelux has set up a 100m2 stand, to highlight the rich potentialities of the different regions of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The Moroccan stand was particularly attended by the regions of Tangier-Al Hoceima, Béni Mellal-Khénifra and Fès-Meknès, as well as the Royal Air Maroc-Benelux and hotel chains.

The choice of Belgium is not a coincidence, but is among Morocco’s potential markets, given that 84% of the tourists picked up in 2022 were from Belgium when compared to the figures for 2019. This means that Morocco is at the top of the most popular destinations outside Europe for Belgians.

At the level of the Moroccan stand, the promotion of the Kingdom’s tourist destinations has been done through digitalization. An invitation to discover the traditions and richness of the Moroccan heritage.
