Casablanca: A conference highlights HM the King’s wise diplomacy in Africa

A conference under the theme “HM King Mohammed VI’s diplomacy in Africa at the service of Moroccan business” was organized by the Casablanca Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCISCS), Thursday in Casablanca. During this meeting, the strategic vision of HM the King regarding cooperation with African countries was put forward.

Speakers at the event, which was also attended by African diplomats, highlighted the efforts made by Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of HM the King, to strengthen its presence in several regions of the continent based on a win-win partnership and co-development.

On this occasion, the president of the Casablanca-Settat CCIS, Hassane Berkani, welcomed the policy of HM the King in Africa and his commitment to the side of brotherly African countries, while reminding of the royal visits to Africa which gave rise to several partnership agreements, within the framework of South-South cooperation.

For his part, the president of the Council of the Casablanca-Settat region, Abdellatif Maâzouz, reviewed the major stages that have marked the relationship between Morocco and Africa.

For his part, the ambassador of Congo to Morocco, Jean Marie Mowelles, praised the actions undertaken by Morocco in favor of African countries, thanks to the wise and farsighted policy of HM King Mohammed VI in Africa.

At the end of the ceremony, the book “Mohammed VI an African King, 20 years of Moroccan diplomacy in Africa” by its author Samir Chaouki was signed.
