Cameroonian delegation highlights the advancement of Dakhla

A Cameroonian delegation chaired by the Sultan-King of Bamoun, Mohamed Nabil Nforifoum Mbombo Njoya, visited yesterday the Moroccan city of Dakhla to learn about the level of economic development of the city.

The Cameroonian ambassador in Rabat, Mouhamadou Youssifou was also part of the delegation which held meetings with officials of the region such as the Wali of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, governor of the province of Oued Eddahab, Lamine Benomar, the president of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region council, El Khattat Yanja, and the president of the Dakhla communal council, Erragheb Hormatallah.

In addition to highlighting the progress and advances made by the city, these meetings focused on ways to consolidate cooperation between Morocco and Cameroon.

On this occasion, the members of the delegation expressed their deep appreciation for the distinguished position of the city of Dakhla as a gateway to Morocco and the development projects launched in the region, while recalling the key role of His Majesty the King in the development of relations between Morocco and the countries of sub-Saharan Africa.
