FSR: The Senegal Rugby XV Cup will be launched in 2023

After 3 years of absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Senegalese Rugby Federation (FSR) has decided to relaunch the Senegal Rugby Cup in 2023, according to the FSR’s communication manager, Madiagne Diagne.

The 2021 and 2022 editions are not held, and the last competition organized was in 2020 between the Sharks and ASFA.

Furthermore, the official announced that the launch of the next edition is scheduled for March and at least 8 teams will take part in the tournament.

According to the FSR, the start date of the Senegalese men’s rugby league (Top Senegal) is set for the weekend of 4-5 February, according to the announcement of the Senegalese Rugby Federation (FSR). The regular season in February will consist of four rounds. Seven teams grouped in a single pool will compete for the title of Senegalese champion.
