The Atlas Lions paid the luxury of qualifying for the round of 16 of the 2022 Qatar World Cup with a bang, finishing out of the pool following their victory (2-1) in Canada. Nouakchott’s Mauritanian and Moroccan supporters are delighted.
Since 1986, Morocco returned to their eighth World Cup final after finishing first in their group ahead of Croatia, Belgium and Canada.
The Mauritanian and Moroccan supporters did not hide their joy. Commenting on the meeting, Morocco’s Yasin Mazraoui welcomed his national team qualification.
