The Representatives of the National Council of Ordre of “Moroccan notaries (CNONM)” and the Israel Bar Association signed a legal cooperation agreement in Casablanca on the evening of Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
The treaty, signed by CNONM President Hicham Sabiry and Israel Bar Association President Avi Himi, aims to create a framework for cooperation and partnerships to foster an investment climate.
The agreement “covers all aspects of the legal system that are the responsibility of notaries: investments, legal data, laws regulating investments, provision of accurate data…” said Hicham Sabiry
In Israel, lawyers, by virtue of their profession, are obliged to maintain before different jurisdictions, prepare contracts, and register them, whereas, in Morocco, these two functions are performed by lawyers and notary professionals. CNONM’s chairman explained.
