The Poetess Aïcha Belarbi will be the guest, next Friday in Rabat, of the third episode of the show “In the Bright Room” (Fi Al Ghorfa Al Modia) organized by the House of Poetry in Morocco and the Moroccan Association of Photographic Art (AMAP).

An academic professor and sociologist, Aïcha Belarbi has published several books including “Couples in question”, “Corps au féminin”, and “Femmes et Islam”, recalls a journalistic resource
Activist for the rights of Moroccan women since the middle of the 70s of the last century, she was a member of the government of alternation between 1998 and 2002, and ambassador of Morocco to the European Union, International Commissioner to the International Organization for Migration between 2004 and 2006.
She also has several other publications, including “Life in verse”, “Impressions, expressions”, “Long crossing” and “The sun rises at night”.
