Arrival of Slain Soldiers’ Remains at Abuja Military Cemetery

The National Military Cemetery in Abuja has received the bodies of the military personnel who were recently slain in Delta State. The arrival took place at approximately 2:39 pm, with the remains being conveyed in separate ambulance vehicles.

According to reports from The PUNCH, the victims comprised four officers and 13 soldiers who were tragically murdered on March 14th by agitated youths in the Okuama community.

The dispute between the Okuama and Okoloba communities in Delta State revolves around the ownership of a parcel of land situated on their shared border.

Among the fallen officers are Commanding Officer 181 Amphibious Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel A.H. Ali; Major S.D. Shafa (N/13976); Major D.E. Obi (N/14395); and Captain U. Zakari (N/16348).
