Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Tinubu, expressed optimism about the impact of initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda, stating that they are already showing positive results and will soon benefit all communities across Nigeria.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Women’s Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Abuja on Monday, the First Lady emphasized that these initiatives, championed by President Tinubu, will benefit women and contribute to the overall improvement of the country’s economic situation.

Represented by Mrs. Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi, the Mandate Secretary for Women Affairs in the Federal Capital Territory, Tinubu highlighted the Renewed Hope Agenda’s efforts in providing relief and humanitarian services to various segments of society, including the elderly, women, communities, and the girl-child.

“The economic situation of the country is already improving,” she affirmed, attributing this progress to implementing several initiatives to bring relief to citizens.

Furthermore, the First Lady urged women to serve as exemplary figures and emphasized the importance of unity in advancing the cause of women in Nigeria. She stressed the pivotal role of women as healers and called for collective efforts towards healing the nation.

“Women must collaborate and recognize their role as agents of healing for our nation,” she emphasized.

The remarks from the First Lady underscore the commitment of the Tinubu administration towards addressing key societal issues and promoting the welfare of all Nigerians, with a particular focus on empowering women and fostering national unity.
