In Ouagadougou this Thursday morning, the judge of the administrative court has decreed the immediate release of Attorney Guy-Hervé Kam. The lawyer and leader of the political movement Sens was detained on January 24th without apparent cause.
It was only during a hearing before the court on Tuesday that the state’s legal representative officially levied charges of “attempted breach of state security” to justify his arrest. These justifications were deemed null and void by the administrative court judge on Thursday, March 7th.
