A shocking incident unfolded at Primrose Primary Hill School in Germiston, where a school principal was shot by a student after reprimanding him for not studying. The incident occurred on Friday, sending shockwaves through the school community and prompting widespread concern. Steve Mabona, spokesperson for the Gauteng Education Department, provided details of the incident, stating that earlier in the day, the principal had encountered the student among a group of learners loitering in the school foyer. The principal instructed them to take out their workbooks and study, but the student allegedly mumbled some words, which the principal ignored at the time.
