Renowned Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, has voiced his apprehensions about the escalating economic challenges and widespread insecurity during President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

In a video that recently went viral, Kwam 1, a staunch supporter of President Tinubu, could be heard expressing his concerns about the state of affairs in Nigeria. During a performance at a recent event, the legendary singer brought attention to the promises made by Tinubu during his campaigns.

Addressing Tinubu as “my boss,” Kwam 1 urged the President to take decisive action against the prevailing issues of hunger, insecurity, and the ongoing depreciation of the national currency. In his impassioned words, he stated, “President Tinubu, I greet you. My fellow Nigerians, I greet you. People are saying I sang in support of my boss Tinubu, and if elected president of Nigeria, citizens will be blessed.”

The musician went on to highlight the concerns raised by citizens, including the rising cost of fuel, fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate, and its scarcity. He emphasized the inadequacy of people’s salaries to meet their basic needs and drew attention to the challenges faced by citizens in accessing a stable electricity supply.
