A tragic incident occurred on Saturday, approximately 132 kilometers north of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. According to the official statement released by the Ministry of Health, multiple vehicles collided resulting in the loss of thirty-two lives and leaving sixty-three individuals injured.

In the early hours of the morning, a devastating collision occurred on the primary desert route in the Beheira governorate. This tragic incident involved a bus and several vehicles that were en route to Cairo.

As stated by authorities in a report featured in the state-owned Al-Ahram newspaper, the tragic collision found its origin in an oil leak from one of the vehicles.
