Inquest Into Adebola Akin-Bright’s Missing Intestine Commences

The Coroner’s inquest into the mysterious disappearance of late Adebola Akin-Bright’s intestine began at the Ebute Metta Magistrate Court, presided over by Magistrate Bola Folarin-Williams.

Present at the proceedings were legal representatives for the deceased’s father, Olumuyiwa Akin-Bright, the African Women Lawyers Association, and the Lagos State Government.

The state counsel informed the court about completed tests and examinations on the deceased’s corpse and the availability of a post-mortem report. Adebola Akin-Bright’s counsel expressed the wish to call witnesses, including medical professionals and investigators, to comprehensively understand the circumstances.

The coroner acknowledged the readiness of the autopsy report and urged cooperation between all parties involved. The case adjourned to November 24, 2023, for further proceedings, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts in this ongoing inquiry.
